Sermons
The following links are to videos I prepared for worship for Saint John Hill United Church of Christ, Boyertown, Pennsylvania, during the pandemic of 2020. At first I only prepared the sermon at home, and sent it in to our secretary. Then I prepared all of the spoken parts of the service at home, and sent it to the secretary, who provided links to Youtube videos for the hymns, slides for the scriptures and unison parts of the service, and inserted music provided by our organist. In August we bagan to hold services in the sanctuary. The video then included the whole service in the sanctuary of the church.
  1. 22 March 2020 Sermon. Sermon only.

  2. 5 April 2020 Service. Palm Sunday service. The secretary provided links to hymns on you tube, slides of the scriptures and spoken parts of the service, and music provided by the church organist, all of which do not appear here.

  3. 17 May 2020 Service. Another service, with limitations similar to the previous entry.

  4. 16 August 2020 devotion. We returned to indoor worship in August, providing the video of the service on line. On this date we had an outdoor service, and did not have the technical capability of recording the outdoor service. So I provided this devotion for the benefit of those who did not wish to attend in person.

  5. 11 October 2020 Service. This service is the celebration of the Fiftieth Anniversary of my ordination. In the Sermon I describe some of my spiritual journey. The service included a video of persons offering congratulations, which does not appear on this link.
